Vivocity with Pearlyn and Huayyee! Awesome time together, I really missed them loads xoxo. Ate at “Pearlyn’s Dog Cafe” or White Dog Cafe, which costed me a bomb for one piece of chicken (Ha, I exaggerate). But I think we talked for about two hours! Sushi and ice cream after, how delightfully sinful!

Something worth waiting for

New Moon with Huilin, Andrea, Vania, Colette and.. Julian. Haha well, I guess the sounds of a FREE ticket was just too tempting huh? Ah, “girl bonding”. Met up at Orchard to take the FREE shuttle bus to Great World City. Huilin and Julian got lost but it was pretty hilarious because when Julian saw Huilin and me, he did a little victory dance. Entertaining. Anyway we hopped on the FREE shuttle bus and went to Great World City for the FREE movie with FREE popcorn and FREE drinks. Ate at Yoshinoya (or as Jul calls it “rice world”). Had no cash so I had to withdraw from the ATM and seeing how lovely my friends are, when I got back, they moved to another table (4-seater) so I ended up sitting with Julian and engaging in well.. brainless conversation. The hey-how-is-the-weather kind of conversations. Ah well. Played Truth-Or-Dare (admittedly InC’s favourite game) thereafter. Let’s hope I get to post Julian’s pretty little picture on Facebook .

Honestly New Moon was pretty boring (HEH). I nearly fell asleep at some parts, but it wasn’t all that bad. There was a lot of ogling (from Andrea and Vania, ahem) and I still insist Taylor Lautner only looks good shoulder-down. Colette had to leave so the five of us headed for the shuttle bus waiting area to take the FREE shuttle bus to City Hall. I felt like we waited for an eternity. Stupid shuttle bus -stabs-.

So, after we arrived at City Hall, Julian miraculously disappeared. Then I received a text message from him saying that he had to “rush off” and all, explaining his disappearance. Okay so (At this point I kinda feel as if I’m rambling but BLEH too bad) Vania, Andrea, Huilin and I went to Marina Square (??) for dinner. Sakae Sushi. Hmm, NOT filling and expensive. NOT good.

Ah well, it was fun .

I’m actually up at 8 in the morning to slack around with the computer. Amazing!!

So, I smell neglect here in this blog. Yup, most definitely. I mean seriously, what’s there to blog about! Cambodia, maybe. But you know, there seems to be so much to write, so… (heh heh).

But anyway the trip to Cambodia was pretty cool. I kinda miss it there! 
I just finished my coffee. YUMYUM.

A brand new start

Somehow I do not take much joy in the fact that Chinese O’s are over. Maybe it’s because I wasn’t particularly worried about the paper and there was nothing much to study (I guess). But anyway, that’s one thing off my mind!

CAMBODIA IN THREE DAYS. Now that’s something worth getting excited over! One thing, I can’t seem to get started with the packing. Remember, a friend in need is a friend indeed! *ahem*.

A hope that never fails

Hello earth!

Okay so my week has been.. pretty normal. I need to pack for my trip to Cambodia by tomorrow! But I really dislike packing, because 1) it’s really troublesome to take out clothes (etc) to pack, 2) I always seem to be forgetting something. Anyway, I signed up for YM camp!!!!!! (six exclamation marks used to portray immense excitement) I really can’t wait for it, I’m sure it’s gonna be soooooper fun!

I shall learn how to blog more informally, it’s more interesting that way (to me).

Let’s talk about Sunday! Church in the morning, then lunch with a few InC-ers at PoMo (inkers? okay I have no idea), followed by pool with the guys and Huilin. Huilin needed to use the toilet, so we just walked out of the arcade. On our way back, we decided to give in to temptation and bought ourselves apple pies from McDonalds :’(. SINFUL! Okay but nevermind, it was yumyumz (Y). I think the guys were wondering why we took so long to get back from the toilet, and Dillon said something like they thought we got raped (?!?) or something HAHA. Hilarious. Haha actually Huilin and I intended to randomly butt in during one of their games and randomly hit something, but we ended up playing a whole game with James and Dillon. I really sucked, oh gosh I feel so bad for causing the loss (sorry sorry).

‘O’ Level Chinese tomorrow. I guess I’m ready. I guess.. HAHAHAHA.

Freely You gave it all for us

Okay, I shall start by saying this: I LOVE THE LTC0910 COMMITTEE. Angela, Yuen Han, Izati, Jiawen, Stacey, Charlotte Liu, Sabina, Stephanie, Tingyi, Jeanne, Charlotte Wang, Elizabeth, Glenda, Samantha, Eleanor!

I will miss the worship practices, the SLs, Inferno (!!), the weird gossiping, the late night meetings which last till 3am, the donuts and the nutella in the conference room, the “I am so going to grow fat from eating all these at 2am” moments, the fun, the laughter, the joy, well, everything.

I won’t really talk about what happened during the camp though. Otherwise it’ll be pretty long and draggyyyy.

I think I didn’t really get the chance to bond with my group. I mean, I spent so little time with them! ):
I’m reallyyyy sorrry guys (if you’re reading this, though I doubt so). With the Higher Chinese lessons, and me being the i/c of the Devotions and Training committee, I had to see to so many things. I feel really bad!

Anyway, loved the camp. Even though the debriefs were really late into the night and we had about 3h of sleep only, and that the showers were always freeeeezing cold. Seriously, they were horrible.

I have to do Chinese now..

INC RETREAT 2009!!!
Had sooooooo much fun during the retreat! Oh gosh, I loveeee the group! There were, thirteen of us at the retreat (on Friday, I hope I’m not wrong) - Tessa, Rachel, Huilin, Matthew, Dillon, James, Julian, Davniel, Vania, Andrea, Joshua, Linus and me! Xavier joined us on Saturday and Colette and James Eng came on Sunday!
Well, like thanks for everything guys. The fun, the worship, everything!

Hmm, let’s see. I arrived at the place at around 8.30pm, which was pretty late. The first night was quite fun! We took a nice walk until 11 around Pasir Ris Park. Quite freaky because I heard some weird noises and Rachel said that those were the sounds made by bullfrogs. Yes, bullfrogs, so I was super freaked out and consistently watched out for funny green hopping creatures on the floor. I was ready to run anytime. So yeah, after we went back, I really didn’t feel like sleeping. James didn’t feel like sleeping as well, so he taught me how to play Speed! Haha, it was pretty fun but the game lasted for around 4h! We played from about 11pm to 3am and he won in the end. Ahh I was so close to winning, haha! But in the middle of the game, Davniel came down and said that he couldn’t sleep too, so came down and started playing Halo on the Xbox that Joshua brought. Haha, oh yes. Before Davniel started playing Halo, we were watching TV. It was this really weird show. I think Davniel mentioned something about cubes, but I honestly do not know the title of the show. So, I thought it was some really odd sci-fi show, which could potentially be pretty interesting. Haha. But I guess I was wrong, because IT WAS DISGUSTINGLY SCARY. And I abhorrrrrr horror. Like seriously, I was really scared! And the guys were commenting on how it was like some B-grade horror movie HAHA. And then Julian texted James asking him if he was awake HAHA. Funny, since the room Julian was just a few steps away from the living room. Haha. Then Julian came out for awhile but soon went back in learning that he could sleep on the bed. Or something like that. Anyway I had planned not to sleep on the first day, but of course, in the end I still had to succumb to my heavy eyelids (or maybe because I was just watching Davniel play Halo).

Woke up at 8 the next morning. I woke up before my alarm went off! I’m so proud of myself :) Had worship in the morning and went for lunch at White Sands. We were supposed to go to Escape Theme Park, but we eventually abandoned the idea of spending twenty bucks at a place where we can’t really do much. Oh yeah, we played at the arcade! Haha, the basketball and the car racing, whoo!! So after we got back, the boys played Guitar Hero heh! We played frisbee in the front porch (I don’t know what you call it). Haha then Dillon appeared on the balcony so we threw the frisbee to him haha! Reynard and Andrea appeared on the other balcony! So we kinda played multi-level frisbee HAHA. After that we played Captain’s Ball! The one with the mobile captain. We were divided into two teams, so it was Tessa, Joshua, James and me against Davniel, Huilin, Rachel and Bevon (I can’t spell his name). Playing against Davniel was tough. HE IS TOO TALL TO PLAY. Haha anyway we didn’t keep score. Then Dillon came and joined the other team. I got two blisters from playing ): Boooooooo. I perspired like a monkey (don’t tell me about monkeys sweating because I know nuts about it, it just sounds right). Oops, I kinda forgot what happened, but I know that we had bread for dinner and I guess it wasn’t filling for most of us so we called McDelivery! At around twelve. It was too late for me to eat anything so I didn’t order! Eunice treated us though. She said it was our Christmas present, hahah. We played Truth or Dare, which was pretty weird HAHA. Most of us didn’t want to play, so we played card games like Pig, Saboteur, and the Polar Bear game. I was having a real bad headache then though! I think it’s because of lack of food/sleep! Ah well.

Day 3 of the retreat. Worship in the morning. We watched this weird video called Eastern Bride or something, which most of us didn’t understand. Haha. Then we played some game which taught us how to appreciate each other. Nooooo I didn’t want to go back home. I miss the group already!

Anyway thanks InC for making this three days so enjoyable. Hope that we’ll continue to plan more outings, etc. I think we really bonded as a group and enjoyed the great fellowship that we shared. I hope that we’d continue to bond and grow (spiritually). Love you alllll!!

Oh bummer, LTC0910 is tomorrow! I’m really stressed out. I hope that it will run smoothly and that the Sec 2′s will not only learn to be great leaders but also have fun during the camp. We worked so hard for this camp!! And I’m leading worship on the first night! Heh. Excited yet stressed. Blah.

I will lift my eyes to the Maker, of the mountains I can’t climb.
